Okay, so, Texans football playoffs. What a ride, right? I started this whole thing like everyone else, just a regular fan. Got my jersey, you know, the whole nine yards. It all kicked off with me watching every game, religiously. I mean, every single one. Even the ones where we were getting, you know, hammered. But hey, that’s what being a fan is all about, right?

Then, it hit me. Why not document this? So, I grabbed my phone, started jotting down notes during the games. Just quick stuff – key plays, my reactions, you get the picture. I wasn’t thinking of anything big, just having fun with it. After each game, I’d sit down and, like, flesh out these notes. What worked, what didn’t, who surprised me, who let me down – that sort of thing.
The Process
- Watched every game: No missing out, no excuses.
- Took notes: Got down to the nitty-gritty during each match.
- Reflected after games: Sat down, thought about it all, wrote it out.
- Started sharing: This is where it got interesting. I thought, why not put this out there?
Sharing was a whole other ball game, literally. I started posting these write-ups online, on forums and stuff. At first, it was just, like, shouting into the void. But then, people started responding. They had opinions, they agreed, they disagreed, and man, it was awesome. We built this little community, all hyped about the Texans.
The playoffs, though. That was something else. The energy, the tension, every game felt like do or die. And I was there, through it all, writing, sharing, connecting. It felt bigger than just me and my notes. We were all in it together, this rollercoaster of emotions.
And when it was all over, win or lose, it didn’t even matter. We’d been through something together. That’s what I realized. It wasn’t just about the football. It was about being part of something, sharing that journey. And that’s why I’ll keep doing this, game after game. Because at the end of the day, it’s the shared experiences that really count, right?
