Alright, so I’ve been messing around with this whole Dakota Kai WWE thing. You know, trying to get a handle on her career and all that. First off, I gotta say, it was a bit of a rabbit hole. I started by just looking up some basic stuff about her, you know, like where she’s from and how she got into wrestling.
So, I dug up some info on her early days, pre-WWE. Turns out she wrestled under different names and had some pretty cool matches in other promotions. I was kinda surprised, to be honest. I only knew her from WWE, but this girl’s got history!
Then, I dove into her time in NXT. Man, that’s where things got interesting. I watched a bunch of her matches, you know, the ones with Tegan Nox, Candice LeRae, and all those other talented ladies. I was really getting into her character development, you know, the whole heel turn and everything. It was pretty well done.
- Watched NXT TakeOver matches.
- Checked out her promos and backstage segments.
- Followed the whole Team Kick storyline.
After that, I moved on to her main roster run. This is where it got a bit bumpy. She had some good moments, like winning the tag titles with Iyo Sky, but then, bam, she’s released. I was like, “What the heck happened there?” So, I read some articles and interviews to try and figure out what went down behind the scenes. No real answers, just a lot of speculation.
But then, surprise, surprise, she’s back! At SummerSlam 2022, she shows up alongside Bayley and Iyo Sky. It was a cool moment, and I was stoked to see her back in action.
Damage CTRL Era
Following her return, I was hooked, man. Watching the whole Damage CTRL storyline unfold was wild. I kept up with every Raw and SmackDown, making sure I didn’t miss a beat. Her teaming up with Bayley and Iyo, that was just gold. They had some killer matches, and Dakota, she was holding her own. She really stepped up her game. I watched them win the tag titles and, boy, they were dominant. And then you have the whole WarGames thing, where they faced off against Becky Lynch and her team. That match was intense. I was on the edge of my seat the entire time. It was nuts!
So yeah, that’s pretty much where I’m at with this whole Dakota Kai thing. I’ve followed her journey, from the indies to NXT, to the main roster, then back again. It’s been a wild ride, and I’m definitely a fan. She’s a talented wrestler, and I’m excited to see what she does next.
