Okay, so I’ve always been a huge Tom Brady fan, right? And every year, I spend way too much time trying to come up with the perfect fantasy football team name that somehow involves him. It’s a whole thing, a tradition almost.
This year, I figured, why not make it a bit of a project? I started by just brainstorming. I grabbed a pen and a piece of paper and jotted down every Brady-related phrase or pun that came to mind. It was a mess, honestly. Stuff like “Brady’s Bunch of TDs” and “The GOAT Farm” were scribbled all over the page.
After that, I hopped online to see what other folks had come up with in the past. This took me down some wild internet rabbit holes, let me tell you. People are really creative…or maybe they just have too much time on their hands. I spent hours scrolling through forums and blog posts, copying down any name that I thought had potential.
With a huge list in front of me, I started narrowing it down. This was the hardest part, to be honest. Some names were funny but a bit too out there, some were just plain bad, and others were okay but didn’t really grab me. I crossed out a bunch, highlighted a few, and even combined some ideas to create entirely new names.
Finally, after days of this – and probably driving my friends and family crazy with my constant name-dropping – I settled on my top five. Here they are:

- The Tompa Bay Buccaneers
- 7 Rings, 1 GOAT
- Brady’s Gonna Get Ya
- Avocado Ice Cream Eaters
I ended up going with “Avocado Ice Cream Eaters”. It’s a bit of an inside joke, referencing Brady’s notoriously strict diet, but I think it’s pretty clever. Plus, it’s unique. I haven’t seen anyone else using it, which is a big deal in the competitive world of fantasy football names, haha!
So yeah, that’s the saga of how I picked my fantasy football team name this year. It was a journey, but I’m pretty happy with the result. Now, let’s just hope my team performs as well as its name! Wish me luck, guys!
