Man, I’ve been wanting to do this for a while, and today I finally got around to setting up my own little Steph Curry haven at home. It’s not much, but it’s mine, and I’m pretty stoked about it.
First off, I cleared out a corner in my spare room. It was full of junk, old boxes, and stuff I probably should have thrown out a long time ago. I spent a good couple of hours just moving things around, making space. Then I gave the area a good sweeping and wiped down the walls. Needed to make sure it was all clean and ready.
The Setup
Once the space was prepped, I started with the centerpiece. You know what I’m talking about – a big poster of Steph. I found this awesome one online a while back, and it shows him mid-shot, looking all focused and determined. I carefully put it up, making sure it was centered and straight. It took a few tries, but I got it just right.
Next, I had this old jersey, a Curry one, of course. It’s a bit worn, but that just adds to its charm, right? I decided to hang it up next to the poster. I used a couple of thumbtacks to keep it in place. Looks pretty cool, if I do say so myself.
- After that, I went through my collection of basketball cards.
- I picked out all the Steph Curry ones and laid them out on a small shelf I had installed earlier.
- It’s not a huge collection, but it’s got some of my favorites, including a rookie card that I’m particularly proud of.
I also found my old Warriors cap and a basketball that Steph signed during a fan event a few years back. I placed the cap on top of the shelf and the basketball right below it. It’s like a mini-shrine, dedicated to my favorite player.
The final touch was adding some LED strip lights around the area. I got these blue and gold ones to match the Warriors’ colors. They give off a nice glow and really make the whole setup pop, especially at night.
I stood back and looked at everything. It’s simple, yeah, but it’s got everything I wanted. It’s my little corner of Warriors fandom, and I love it. Every time I walk into the room, I can’t help but smile. It’s like a little reminder of all those amazing games and moments that Steph Curry has given us fans.
Oh, and I almost forgot to mention! I also made a small playlist of Steph Curry highlights on my computer. And then, I put it on repeat. It’s playing softly in the background whenever I’m in the room. Because it is an important part of my whole project.
So, that’s my Steph Curry home setup. What do you guys think? I might add more stuff later on, but for now, I’m really happy with how it turned out.
