Okay, let’s talk about NBA 2K23 Season 9. I’ve been playing this game for a while, and Season 9, well, it’s the last one, so I had to jump in and see what’s up.
Getting Started
First thing I did was check when it was dropping. Turns out, it started on August 11th. Nice! I made sure to log in around 8 AM PST, ’cause that’s when they usually release new stuff. The game updated, and boom, Season 9 was live. No time wasted!
Diving Into the Game
I immediately started grinding for XP. In MyCAREER, you can earn these points all over the city. I spent a good chunk of time exploring, doing quests, and playing games. They’ve got these Seasons every six weeks, so I knew I had some time, but I wanted to get a head start. Oh, and there was this special code that 2K Sports released. Always gotta grab those freebies, right?
Working on My Player
One of the things I really focused on was improving my player’s skills, and let me tell you, speed and speed with ball are really key. And I found out I need to work on my Mamba Mentality, that is really important, I’ve been working on it a lot.
- Speed: I did a bunch of drills to boost this. It makes a huge difference when you’re trying to blow past defenders.
- Speed with Ball: This was a bit trickier, but I got the hang of it after some practice. Being able to move fast while dribbling is a game-changer.
Saving Resources
Now, I’m not one to waste resources. So, I’ve been pretty careful with my MT and VC. Here’s what I did:
- Saving MT: I didn’t go crazy buying packs. Instead, I focused on completing challenges and objectives that reward you with MT.
- Saving VC: Similar to MT, I didn’t spend VC on unnecessary stuff. I saved it for things that would really improve my player or my team.
Final Thoughts
Season 9 is the last hurrah for NBA 2K23, and I’m making the most of it. I’m grinding, saving, and enjoying every bit of it. It’s a bit sad to see it end, but hey, we’ve got the servers until they shut down, so let’s make these last moments count. It’s been a wild ride, and I’m here for all of it until the very end. Also, I heard that Season 9 is full of Endgame cards, which makes me so excited. Anyway, that’s my experience with NBA 2K23 Season 9. If you’re playing too, let’s connect and maybe run a few games. See y’all on the court!
