So, I saw this crazy video online the other day and it was all about Jaylen Brown, you know, the Boston Celtics guy. This dude was doing some wild stuff in a pool, and I thought, “What in the world is going on here?” I got hooked and decided to give it a try myself.
I grabbed my swimming goggles – not as cool as Brown’s, but they did the job – and headed to the local pool. I’m not gonna lie, it felt weird at first. I started with some basic stuff, like dribbling a basketball underwater. Let me tell you, it’s way harder than it looks. The water resistance is insane, and I felt like I was moving in slow motion.
My Workout Routine
- Dribbling: I tried to dribble underwater, walking from one end of the pool to the other. It was a real struggle to keep the ball under control.
- Shooting: Then, I attempted to shoot some hoops. Forget about a perfect arc; the ball barely left my hands before sinking.
- Running: I did some underwater sprints. This was probably the most exhausting part. It felt like running through mud, but ten times harder.
- Lifting: I saw Brown lifting weights underwater in the video. I tried this with some lighter weights, and even that was a killer.
After a good thirty minutes of this, I was completely wiped out. I mean, I work out regularly, but this was a whole different level of exhaustion. I don’t know how this Bronny James, did it at his first summer league.
I gotta give it to Brown, though. He’s onto something with this underwater training. It’s a fantastic way to build strength and endurance without putting too much strain on your joints. Plus, it’s kind of fun in a really challenging way.
I’m not sure if I’ll make this a regular part of my routine, but I’m definitely going to try it again. It’s a great way to mix things up and push yourself to the limit. If you’re looking for a new challenge, I highly recommend giving underwater training a shot. Just be prepared to feel the burn!
Oh, and one more thing. I also heard someone say something like, “Brown can be seen saying” something, but I couldn’t really make it out in the video. Anyway, that’s my story about trying out that crazy Jaylen Brown pool workout. It was tough, it was fun, and it definitely made me appreciate how fit these NBA guys really are!
