Alright, so I tried to do this “Drug Trafficking” quest in Escape from Tarkov. I gotta tell ya, it was a bit of a mess, but a fun one. Here’s how it went down.
First off, I made sure I was on the right map. It’s called Lighthouse, which is kinda obvious if you think about it. I mean, there’s a freaking huge lighthouse right there. Can’t miss it. Anyway, I loaded into the map, all geared up and ready to go.
This quest is given by Therapist. You need to find some items that are related to drugs and hand them over to her. I remembered reading about it somewhere online, so I kinda knew what I was supposed to be doing.
The thing is, this map is crawling with other players, and let me tell you, they weren’t there to hold hands and sing songs. I had to sneak around like a ninja, always looking over my shoulder. I got into a few firefights, which was pretty intense. I managed to take down a couple of guys, but I also got shot up pretty bad a few times. Luckily, I had enough meds to patch myself up.
I spent hours searching every nook and cranny. I hit up the resort, the village, that water treatment plant, and even that creepy rogue camp. It was a grind, no joke. But I eventually found what I was looking for.
- The first thing I found was the injector case inside the USEC stash room in the water treatment plant.
- Then I got the morphine injectors inside the resort.
- Last, I grabbed the P22 from the rogue camp.
After many raids and getting killed a bunch of times, I finally got all the stuff and handed it over to Therapist. It felt good to finally finish it, even though it was a pain in the butt. I got a decent chunk of experience and some other rewards, so it was worth it in the end.
Tips
So, if you’re gonna try this quest, here are a few things I learned:
- Be prepared to fight. Other players will be hunting for the same stuff, and they won’t be friendly.
- Learn the map. Knowing where to look can save you a lot of time.
- Bring meds. You’re gonna get shot, trust me.
- Be patient. This quest takes time, so don’t get discouraged if you don’t find everything right away.
It was a wild ride, but hey, that’s Tarkov for ya. Good luck if you decide to give it a shot!
