Okay, so, I’ve been digging into this whole UFC thing, especially the women’s side of it. And let me tell you, figuring out the weight classes was a bit of a head-scratcher at first. So, I was like, “I gotta write this down.”

First off, I started by just searching, you know, “women’s mma weight classes ufc.” I’m not too proud to admit that I had no clue what I was getting into when I started.
I started hitting up all these different websites. I even made a little list. Then I felt a bit more confident about this stuff.
Then, I got down to business. I opened up my notebook and started jotting things down. I had to get this straight for myself. And I was like, “Okay, there’s gotta be a system here.”
- Strawweight: This is the lightest one. I was writing down “115 pounds.”
- Flyweight: A bit heavier, at 125 pounds.
- Bantamweight: This one’s 135 pounds.
- Featherweight: The heaviest, at 145 pounds.
I kept going back and forth, checking different sources, making sure I had it right. I even started looking up some of the fighters in each class, just to get a feel for it, and to ensure I was doing this correctly.
After a while, it started to click. It wasn’t just numbers anymore; I could actually picture these fighters and how they’d match up. And you know what? It got pretty interesting. I found myself getting more and more into it, looking up fights, and reading about the history of each division.

Finally, I felt like I had a decent grasp on it. I organized my notes, made sure everything was clear, and boom, I had my own little guide to UFC women’s weight classes. It’s not fancy, but it’s mine, and it makes sense to me. And that’s what counts, right? I did it!
It might be a little rough around the edges, but I did the work. I am proud of what I’ve done.
