Alright, guys, gather ’round, let me tell you about my little adventure today with this whole “Hurts or Howell” thing. So, I’ve been on this kick lately, really diving deep into music and lyrics, you know, the usual. And today, I stumbled upon this album by P!nk called “Hurts 2B Human.” I thought, “Hey, that sounds interesting, let’s give it a whirl.”
I started by playing the title track, “Hurts 2B Human,” featuring Khalid. First off, the beat got me nodding my head right away. It’s got this catchy rhythm that just makes you want to move. Then P!nk’s voice comes in, and man, she’s got such a powerful way of singing. I mean her voice is just so, I don’t know, it’s rough but sweet at the same time, and it just hits you right in the feels.
Then I dug into the lyrics. “Boy, you make it sound so pretty even when it’s not,” she sings. And I’m like, “Yeah, I get that.” It’s like life, right? Sometimes it’s messy, sometimes it’s tough, but we find ways to make it beautiful, or at least bearable. I spent a good hour just listening to this one song, over and over, trying to soak it all in.
Next, I decided to check out the whole album. I found the tracklist on some CD store’s website, they had the whole shebang listed out, even the album cover. “Hurts 2B Human” is the eighth album from P!nk. Cool, I didn’t know that.
Then i have another discovery, it’s her third consecutive US number-one album. So many achievements on this talented woman. And I found some people were discussing about the strumming pattern of this song. Sounds really professional, I am just here to enjoy the music.
I listened to a few more tracks, and each one had its own vibe, its own story. It’s like she’s sharing pieces of her life with us, and it’s all so relatable. After that, I was in a rabbit hole. I had to find out who wrote these songs, who produced them, the whole nine yards. I ended up spending hours on this, looking up credits, reading reviews, the works.
By the end of it, I was just sitting there, thinking about how music can be such a powerful force. I mean, it can make you feel things, it can make you think, it can connect you with other people. It’s pretty amazing, really.
- The lyrics of the song are really something. They are just so real, so raw. I spent a lot of time just reflecting on them.
- The album is also a great piece of work. I have added a few songs into my playlist and I am sure I will listen to them a lot in the future.
- The power of music is amazing. It’s like magic. It can change your mood, make you feel less alone, and even inspire you.
Here are some thoughts after today’s listening:
So yeah, that was my day with “Hurts or Howell” – well, “Hurts 2B Human,” I mean. It was a good day, a day of discovery and reflection. And it all started with a simple song. Funny how things work out, huh?
