Yesterday was Sunday, and I figured it was about time to get my hands dirty with the new character, Sunday, in Honkai: Star Rail. I’ve been hearing a lot of buzz around him being a solid support unit, and honestly, who doesn’t love a good support?
So, first things first, I logged into the game and pulled for Sunday. Took me a few tries, but hey, I got him! I immediately checked out his stats – SPD, Energy Regeneration, and CRIT DMG seemed to be his bread and butter. Alright, noted.
Leveling Up
Next, I spent the next hour just grinding to level him up. It’s always a bit of a chore, but it’s gotta be done. I used all those experience materials I’ve been hoarding. Good thing I saved those up, huh? By the time I was done, my Sunday was looking pretty buff, all leveled up and ready to go.
Gear and Abilities
After that, it was time to equip him. From what I read online, he’s all about supporting allies and letting them take action ASAP. So, I slapped on some gear that boosted his SPD and Energy Regeneration. I also focused on relics that could enhance these stats even more. Found some pretty decent ones after a bit of digging around in my inventory.
- Basic Attack: I noticed his basic attack, “Gleaming,” isn’t too shabby. It’s not his main thing, but it’s there.
- Support Abilities: This is where he shines. He can buff both characters and their summons, which sounds awesome.
Testing Him Out
Finally, I threw him into a few battles to see how he performs. I teamed him up with some of my strongest DPS characters. Honestly, it was pretty smooth. He really does help them act quicker. The battles felt faster, and my team was hitting harder. I played around with a few different team setups, and he fit in pretty well with most of them. His ability to let allies and their summons act immediately is a game-changer in some of these fights.
I spent the rest of the day just experimenting with different strategies. I lost a few battles here and there, but that’s part of the fun, right? Figuring out what works and what doesn’t. Overall, Sunday seems like a really solid support. He’s definitely going to be a regular in my team comps from now on. I’m already thinking about who else I can pair him with to make some unstoppable teams.
All in all, it was a pretty productive Sunday. Got a new character, leveled him up, figured out his gear, and even got some practice in. Can’t wait to see what other crazy combos I can come up with using him. This game never gets old, always something new to try out and master.
