Okay, so today I messed around with this thing called “Habitat Heroes *”. Sounds kinda weird, right? But it’s basically a Monopoly event thing, like they have in the mobile game, and I wanted to see what all the fuss was about. First, I had to figure out what exactly this Habitat Heroes thing even was.
Turns out, it’s some kind of limited-time event in Monopoly GO where you can rack up points and grab rewards. I found this list online that talked about milestones and rewards, so I thought, “Why not give it a shot?” I’m not a huge Monopoly player, but I do like free stuff.
So, I opened up the game and started playing. The event was pretty easy to find, thankfully. They had it plastered all over the main screen. I started rolling the dice, landing on different spots, and slowly but surely, I started hitting those milestones they talked about. Each milestone seemed to have a different point requirement, and the rewards got better as I went along.
I spent a good chunk of the afternoon playing. It was kinda addictive, to be honest. Every time I hit a milestone, I got a little rush of excitement. I was mostly just going with the flow, not really strategizing or anything. Just rolling, landing, and collecting. It was actually pretty relaxing, in a weird way.
- First Milestone: I hit this one pretty fast. Just had to land on a few specific property types, as I recall. Got some in-game cash for it. Nothing to write home about.
- Second Milestone: This one took a bit longer. Needed to collect a certain number of shields, I think it was. The reward was some dice rolls, which was helpful to keep playing.
- Third Milestone: Now we’re talking! This one was a bit of a grind, but the reward was a nice sticker pack, which was kinda cool. Needed to complete a bunch of railroads or something.
- Fourth Milestone: This was the big one. Took me forever to hit it. Had to land on Chance and Community Chest spaces a ton of times. But, the reward made it all worth it! I got a bunch of dice rolls and a bunch of cash.
After playing for what felt like forever, I finally hit most of the milestones. It is a good day today!
Honestly, it was a fun little distraction. I probably won’t make it a daily thing, but for a one-time event, it was pretty cool. If you’re into Monopoly GO, I’d say it’s worth checking out. Just be prepared to spend some time rolling those dice!
