Alright, so I’ve been digging around trying to figure out when the Iana Elite skin came out in Rainbow Six Siege, ’cause I missed it and wanted to see if there’s any way to still snag it. Here’s how it went down.
First, I hit up the usual spots, you know, the official Rainbow Six Siege news and all that. Couldn’t find a solid release date right away. I did see some buzz about a collaboration with NieR: Automata, which got me hyped ’cause I’m a huge fan of that game.
Then I started checking out some forums and Reddit threads. Some folks were saying it was released after the Sweden Major. Others mentioned November 21, 2022. That seemed to be the most concrete date I could find, so I went with that.

I also found some info about an Operator Cosplay guide for Iana, showing off her model and gear. That just made me want the skin even more, haha. There were even close-ups of her uniform items and guns. Super detailed stuff!
But here’s the kicker, I learned that it was a limited-time thing and it’s not in the store anymore. Bummer, right? I was so ready to farm those R6 Credits from the battle pass too. I bought the year pass at the start of the year, planning to save up just for this. Major letdown!
So yeah, that’s my little adventure trying to track down the Iana Elite skin release date. Turns out, it dropped on November 21, 2022, as part of the NieR: Automata collab, and I totally missed the boat. It’s a shame ’cause that 2B-inspired skin looked awesome. Guess I’ll just have to keep an eye out for future Elites and hope for the best!
