Okay, so I was trying to get my sensitivity right when switching from Overwatch to CS:GO, and let me tell you, it was a bit of a pain. I wanted to feel at home in CS:GO, you know? Same aim, different game.

Converting Overwatch to CS GO Sensitivity: How-To Guide!

First off, I looked around for ways to convert my Overwatch sensitivity to CS:GO. I mean, there had to be a simple way to do this, right? I found this thing called a “Mouse Sensitivity Converter”. Sounded fancy, but really it was just a tool to help you figure out your settings.

Here’s what I did:

  • I selected Overwatch as my current game.
  • Then, I typed in my Overwatch sensitivity.
  • After that, I picked CS:GO as the game I wanted to switch to.

The converter then did its thing and gave me a number for my CS:GO sensitivity. It was pretty straightforward.

But here’s a little extra something I found out. If you know your mouse DPI (dots per inch), which you can usually find in your mouse’s software settings, you can get an even more accurate sensitivity. So, I punched in my DPI, and the converter gave me some more info, like how many centimeters it takes to do a 360 in the game.

After I set my sensitivity in CS:GO to the number the converter gave me, it felt much better. I was hitting my shots like I used to in Overwatch. It took a little getting used to, but now I’m fragging out in CS:GO with no problem.

What I’ve Learned

Converting sensitivity between games doesn’t have to be a headache. With the right tools, like a sensitivity converter, you can easily switch from one game to another without messing up your aim. Also, knowing your mouse DPI can help you fine-tune your settings even more. It was all pretty simple. All I needed to do was just to find the correct tools, which was pretty easy.
