So, I finally gave in and jumped on the “Monopoly GO” train. And what do you know, the “Rover Rally” event just started today, June 9th. Gotta say, it’s a pretty good time to get some freebies. I’m aiming for those free Dice Rolls and Pickaxe tokens, of course. Who wouldn’t want those, right?
First thing I did was to check out how this whole “Rover Rally” thing works. Turns out, it’s all about landing on specific tiles. Classic “Monopoly”, I guess. I noticed there are a few types of these “Milestone Events”. You got your “Four Corners”, “Pick-Ups”, “Tax and Utility”, “Railroad”, “Community Chest” – the usual suspects.
So I started rolling, trying to hit those special tiles. It felt a bit slow at first. I mean, you’re basically at the mercy of the dice, right? But then I started getting the hang of it. I landed on a few “Railroad” tiles and those “Community Chest” spots. Those are the good ones.
I kept playing, trying to see how many points I could rack up. It’s actually kind of fun once you get into it. I’m not gonna lie, it’s pretty satisfying to see those points go up.
My Game Plan
- Focus on Railroads: These seem to be the most valuable.
- Don’t ignore the others: Every tile counts, even those “Tax” ones, which usually suck in real “Monopoly”.
- Keep rolling: The more you roll, the more chances you have to land on the good stuff.
By the end of the day, I had a decent amount of points. I’m not at the top of the leaderboard or anything, but I’m doing alright. I even got some of those sweet, sweet Dice Rolls and Pickaxe tokens. It’s a good start, I’d say. I just need more!
I’m definitely going to keep playing “Rover Rally” while it’s on. It’s a pretty neat way to get some extra goodies in “Monopoly GO”. If you’re playing too, let me know how you’re doing. Maybe we can compare notes or something. Or just cry together when we roll a one. You know, the usual “Monopoly” stuff.
Alright, that’s it for my “Rover Rally” update for today. I’m off to roll some more dice. Wish me luck!
