Okay, folks, gather around, let me tell you about my latest experiment with Rickie Fowler’s gear. You know, I’ve always been a bit of a tinkerer when it comes to golf equipment, always trying to find that little edge, that little something extra to improve my game.
So, I got my hands on Rickie’s setup, or at least a version of it. Started with those Cobra fairway woods he’s been using. I snagged a 2023 Aerojet three-wood and a 2022 LTDx five-wood, just like the ones he’s got in his bag. Now, I’m no Rickie Fowler, my swing speed ain’t nearly what his is, but I wanted to see how these clubs performed for an average joe like me.
- First off, I took these bad boys to the range.
- Warmed up a bit, got a feel for them.
- And let me tell you, even for a regular guy, these clubs are something else.
The ball just flies off the face, low and straight, just like they say. I’m not gonna lie, I was hitting it further than I usually do with my old woods. Not miles further, but definitely a noticeable difference. I could see why Rickie likes these things, they really do help you squeeze out those extra yards. And the sound they make when you hit the sweet spot? Music to my ears.
Then, I decided to try out this NBA 2K thing, just for kicks. Not sure how it relates to golf, but I saw it mentioned alongside Rickie’s name somewhere, so I figured, why not? I spent some time on NBA 2K25, messing around with the teams, checking out the players’ ratings, you know, the usual stuff. Then I stumbled upon these locker codes, which are basically like cheat codes for the game. You enter them, and you get free stuff, like new players or whatever. Found a bunch of them online, some were expired, some worked. I even found one on the official NBA website, which was pretty cool.
After that, I moved on to the 2K mobile game. Found some codes for that one, too, helps you get started, I guess. Again, not really my thing, but it was an interesting little side quest.
Finally, I dug around a bit about this 2K company. Turns out they make all sorts of games, not just basketball. Shooters, RPGs, strategy games, you name it. Seems like they’ve got their hands in a lot of different cookie jars.
And that’s about it! It was definitely interesting to try out the clubs. I am happy that I tried out Rickie Fowler’s setup. It was also a new experience to play the 2K game and discover those locker codes.
