Recently, I’ve been playing this game, V Rising, and it’s pretty cool. But I got stuck at the iron smelting part. It’s not as straightforward as I thought it would be, so here’s how I finally figured it out.
First, I learned that I couldn’t just smelt iron right from the start. I needed to unlock the recipe for iron ingots. And guess what? That meant I had to go after a boss called Quincey the Bandit King. This guy is level 37, and he hangs out at the Bandit Stronghold. It’s up north in the Farbane Woods. Finding him was a bit of a journey, I spent quite some time to search for him.
So, I leveled up my character as much as I could, and I focused on getting better gear and abilities. I went into battles with other bosses to gain experience and better items. Then I realized my level was good enough, I started to get ready to face Quincey. I had to make sure I was prepared because boss fights in this game aren’t easy.
When I finally reached the Bandit Stronghold, it was tough. There were lots of Quincey’s henchmen around, and I had to fight my way through. And I used bearform to break the gate of the hold. Then the fight with Quincey, it was intense! I used every trick I knew, dodging, attacking, and using my special abilities. He had some strong attacks, but I kept at it.
Finally, after a long battle, I defeated him! It felt great. And as a reward, I got the recipe for iron ingots. But that wasn’t all. I also needed to unlock something called the Smithy, and beating Quincey was the key to that, too.
With the recipe and the Smithy unlocked, I rushed back to my castle. I had collected a bunch of iron ore during my adventures, so I put them into the furnace. It was exciting to finally see iron ore turning into iron ingots.
Here’s a quick rundown of what I did:
- Reached level 37: I leveled up by playing through the game and fighting other bosses.
- Found Quincey: Located the Bandit Stronghold in the north of Farbane Woods.
- Defeated Quincey: Fought and defeated Quincey the Bandit King to get the iron ingot recipe and unlock the Smithy.
- Smelted Iron: Used the furnace in my castle to turn iron ore into iron ingots.
So, that’s my story of how I got into iron smelting in V Rising. It was a tough challenge, but totally worth it. Now I can make much better gear and weapons, which is awesome. If you’re playing V Rising and get stuck on this part, I hope my experience helps you out!
