Okay, so today I want to talk about this thing I did in Zenless Zone Zero. It’s about helping out this girl, she’s called the Nostalgic Girl. She comes into the Random Play video store where I’m working, and she’s all about the old stuff, you know? Reminiscing about her grandpa’s old photos and what not.
So, this Nostalgic Girl, she’s looking for a video tape. Not just any video tape, mind you. She wants something “the older the better.” I’m thinking, okay, I got this. I start showing her all these retro films. Turns out, I’m way off. She’s not having any of it. In fact, she gets kinda insulted that I’m not getting what she wants.
I do some digging, and I find out that the tape she’s after is called “Return to Giallo City.” It’s a retro film, sure, but it’s not just any old movie. It’s the yellow tape in the Retro genre. I’m like, “Seriously? This is it?” It didn’t seem like the oldest thing in the bunch, but hey, she’s the customer, right?
Now, getting this tape wasn’t exactly a walk in the park. You gotta do stuff in the game to unlock these videotapes. Things like completing quests, clearing Agent Stories, or leveling up Random Play. I did a bunch of these, and finally, I got my hands on “Return to Giallo City.”
How I Got There
- First, I focused on completing as many quests as I could. Some were easy, some were a bit of a grind, but I got through them.
- Next, I started clearing Agent Stories. These were pretty interesting, got to learn more about the characters and all that.
- Finally, I worked on leveling up Random Play. This took some time, but it was worth it in the end.
I went back to the store, handed the Nostalgic Girl the “Return to Giallo City” tape, and bam! Request completed. She was happy, I was happy, everyone’s happy. It was a bit of a wild goose chase, but hey, that’s part of the fun, right? It is a good game after all, and I had a great time playing it.
