Okay, so I’ve been grinding away at NCAA 25 lately, and let me tell you, getting that platinum trophy is no joke. I started by diving into the Season 3 Field Pass. It was a bit of a slog, but I managed to hit those milestones at levels 10, 20, 30, 35, 40, and 48. That got me a bunch of trophies, which was pretty sweet.
Then came the real challenge – collecting enough trophies to snag those special player items. It took me a while, but I finally traded in 60 trophies for one of the 88 OVR players. That felt good, but the real prize was that 91 OVR Landon Jackson. I ended up trading in a whopping 280 trophies for him, but it was totally worth it. Seeing him on my team made all those hours of grinding feel justified.
Next up, I tackled the “What an Upset” trophy. This one was tricky. I had to pick a Tier 2 or 3 team and beat an opponent with a higher-ranked school. I spent a good chunk of time picking out my team and then searching for opponents with a higher Tier. It took a few tries, but I eventually pulled off the upset. Man, that was satisfying!
Going Through the Trophy List
- First, I went through the whole list of trophies in the game. There are 15 achievements to unlock, plus that shiny platinum one for us PlayStation folks. I made a checklist to keep track of each one and what I needed to do.
- Some of the trophies were pretty straightforward, like winning a certain number of games or scoring a bunch of touchdowns. Others were more specific, requiring me to do things like intercept a pass in the end zone or recover a fumble for a touchdown. I had to get creative with my gameplay to hit some of these.
- I even looked up a guide online to make sure I didn’t miss anything. It was pretty comprehensive, laying out all the details for each trophy. That helped me plan my approach and focus on the ones I was missing.
Honestly, the whole process was a bit of a rollercoaster. There were times when I felt like I was making great progress, and other times when I got stuck on a particular trophy for what felt like forever. But I kept at it, trying different strategies and learning from my mistakes.
Finally, after many, many hours of gameplay, that platinum trophy popped up on my screen. What a feeling! It was a tough journey, but seeing that 100% completion next to NCAA 25 in my trophy list made it all worth it. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I’m going to take a break from football for a while – my thumbs need some rest!
