Okay, so let’s talk about this whole WMU vs. Michigan State thing. I’ve been digging into this matchup, and here’s what I’ve been up to.
First off, I started by just trying to figure out when this game was even happening. Turns out, they played on a Monday, December 30th. That’s step one, know the date!
- I checked out a bunch of websites to confirm the game time and who was playing. I saw some stuff about predictions, with some folks saying Michigan State would win by a lot, like 80 to 61 or something like that.
- Then, I dove into some betting odds. I’m not a big gambler, but it’s interesting to see what the experts think. I saw Western Michigan was a big underdog, with odds like +27.5. No surprise there.
- I spent some time trying to find the best way to watch it. I found that you could have watched it on ESPN2, which is pretty common for these kinds of games.
I also found out that the game was at Spartan Stadium and it kicked off their 2022 seasons. Pretty cool to be the first game of the season!
I learned that one of the coaches for Western Michigan, Dwayne Stephens, used to work with the Michigan State coach, Tom Izzo. That’s a fun little connection!
And yeah, I used some “powerful machine learning and data analysis” tools… okay, just kidding, mostly just Googled a lot and read through a bunch of articles. But it felt pretty powerful, haha.
So, after all that, I feel like I’ve got a pretty good handle on this WMU vs. Michigan State game. It was a fun little research project, and I enjoyed learning more about it.
Anyway, that’s my little adventure into the world of college basketball. Hope you found it somewhat interesting!
