Alright, so I was trying to get into this whole NFL fantasy league thing. You know, make some picks, build a lineup, and maybe win some cash. I’ve heard about FanDuel, but I was kinda lost on how to actually pick players smartly. That’s when I started looking for tools that could help me out, you know, like an optimizer.

I googled around a bit, searching for things like “NFL FanDuel optimizer free” since I didn’t want to spend any money just yet. I found a couple of websites mentioned, like “daily fantasy fuel” and “numberFire.” So, I decided to check those out first.
What I found:
- daily fantasy fuel: This site had a bunch of articles and some tools. It felt a bit overwhelming at first, but I started digging into their NFL section. They had some free articles that explained how to build a lineup and stuff.
- numberFire: This one was more focused on projections and stats. They had a “lineup generator” thing, but it seemed like you needed to pay to get the good stuff. I poked around the free version, but it wasn’t giving me exactly what I was looking for.
Then, I stumbled upon something called “LineupHQ.” It looked promising. It’s supposed to be a tool that helps you optimize your lineups for DraftKings and FanDuel. I messed around with it a little. You can select players from a pool and see how they fit into your lineup, all while staying under the $50,000 salary cap.
I also saw something about “LineStar” being a good companion app for FanDuel DFS. I didn’t really get into that since I was looking for free website options at the time.
After playing around with these tools for a bit, I started to get a better feel for how it all works. I started thinking about things like player injuries, projected lineups, and even “stacks,” which I learned is when you pick multiple players from the same team.

The whole thing was a bit of a learning curve, but using these free optimizers definitely helped me get started. I realized there’s a lot that goes into making good picks, and it’s not just about picking your favorite players.
I’m still learning, but I feel like I’m on the right track. Maybe I’ll even win some money eventually! We’ll see how it goes.
