Today, I was wondering about something I haven’t thought about in a while: How many Super Bowls have the Bengals actually won? I mean, I know they’ve been to a few, but I couldn’t recall if they’d ever actually taken home the trophy.
So, I started by just doing a quick search online. I typed in “how many super bowls have the bengals won” and waited for the results. Honestly, the first few results were all pretty much the same.
- I saw a bunch of articles and sports sites saying the same thing: The Bengals haven’t won any Super Bowls. Zero. Zilch. Nada.
- They’ve been there, sure, but always seem to come up short. I read that their current record in the Super Bowl is 0-3. That’s gotta sting a little, right?
I dug a little deeper, just to see if there was anything else interesting. I found out that their odds of winning this year aren’t looking so hot either. Apparently, they went from +1300 before the season to +25000 now. That’s, like, a 0.4% chance. Ouch.
Then, I stumbled upon some stuff about a guy named Mike Brown, who I guess is some big shot in the Bengals organization. But honestly, that wasn’t really what I was after. I just wanted to know about the Super Bowl wins, or lack thereof.
I also remembered hearing something about Joe Burrow, the Bengals’ quarterback, saying something about his career being the team’s “Super Bowl window.” Sounds like he’s feeling the pressure, huh? Especially after they lost to the Rams just a year after making it to the big game.
Anyway, after all that searching, it was pretty clear. The Bengals, despite having some good runs, haven’t managed to clinch a Super Bowl win yet. Maybe someday, but for now, they’re still chasing that first championship. I guess that is the end of today’s story.
