I have a problem recently, and I just want to find a new writer’s stuff to read, right? So, I started to find a guy named Thomas Diaz. I first searched online and read some random stuff about him.
Some people were saying his work is “erudite” and “absurd,” which, you know, I don’t even know what those words mean. Anyway, I got the feeling that his writing is pretty unique. There was also talk about his new novel, “Trust,” which is set in the 20th century.
Then I found out he’s won a big prize, the Pulitzer, for it. He talked about some writer named Edith Wharton and how she influenced him, and how he wrote for years without anyone noticing.
I went and found a copy of “Trust.” Started reading it, and honestly, it’s pretty interesting. It got me thinking about how stories shape our lives.
Also, I watched an interview where Diaz talked about how the idea for “Trust” started with just an image of two guys in his head. I have seen another interview he talked about some movie stuff, something about “McFarland USA” and how it took 15 years to make. It just sounded like a long, hard process.
- Started searching for information about Thomas Diaz.
- Found some descriptions of his work and his new novel, “Trust.”
- Read about his influences and the Pulitzer Prize.
- Read the novel “Trust” and started thinking about how literature affects us.
- Watched some interviews where he talked about the novel’s origins and a movie project.
In conclusion, this whole thing with Diaz got me reading again, which is cool. His work is different, and it makes you think. Plus, hearing about his long journey to get recognized, it’s kind of inspiring, you know?
Just thought I’d share my little adventure with Diaz’s work. It’s been a good ride so far.
