Yo, what’s up everyone! I’m back again with another story, this time it’s about how I tried to get tickets for the Tyson Fury vs. Ngannou fight. Let me tell you, it was a wild ride!
First things first, I started checking out ticket prices online. I headed over to a couple of sites like StubHub and Viagogo. Man, the prices were all over the place! On StubHub, the cheapest I found was around $22.78, and the most expensive ones were like, over $9000! Insane, right? On Viagogo, tickets started at about $25, which was a bit better.
Then I saw that the pay-per-view price was announced, and it was $79.99. That’s pretty steep, but it’s probably cheaper than most of the tickets. I also read that if you want to watch it in the UK, it’s going to cost 21.95 through BT TV, Virgin TV, Sky, or online via some TNT Sports Box Office App. Sounds like a hassle, but maybe worth it for some folks.
Now, for those who wanted to be closer to the action, I found out that floor seats started at around $227, but they could go up to over $2600! And if you’re really rolling in dough, ringside tickets were going for a whopping $38,759. I mean, who has that kind of money to spend on a fight? But then I also saw that you could get some pretty decent seats closer to the ring for around $50 to $200. That’s more my style.
Here’s something crazy I heard – apparently, 85,000 out of 90,000 tickets were sold in just the first three hours! That’s nuts! No wonder Fury’s promoter, Frank Warren, was trying to get the local authorities to increase the capacity to 100,000 fans. It’s gonna be packed!
My Game Plan
- Step 1: I decided to start by looking at the cheaper tickets on Viagogo, since $25 wasn’t too bad.
- Step 2: I also kept an eye on StubHub, just in case some good deals popped up.
- Step 3: I set a budget for myself. I wasn’t about to spend thousands on a ticket, no way! I figured I could find something decent for under $200.
- Step 4: I had to be quick! With so many tickets selling out fast, I knew I had to act fast if I wanted to snag a good seat.
So, that was my adventure trying to get tickets for the Fury vs. Ngannou fight. It was a bit of a rollercoaster, with prices all over the place and tickets selling out like hotcakes. In the end, I managed to find a couple of tickets, but I had to act fast and be smart about it. It’s going to be an epic fight, and I can’t wait to see it!
Alright, that’s it for now. Stay tuned for more of my crazy stories. Peace out!
