Today I want to share with you guys about the CU Buffs Stampede. You know, I’ve been a huge fan of the Colorado Buffaloes for more than ten years, and this is definitely one of the coolest things.
So, the other day, I decided to join in on the fun. It’s called the Pearl Street Stampede, happens the night before every home football game. I heard it’s been going on for almost twenty years, a real tradition. I got to Pearl Street, and man, the whole place was packed! Hundreds of Buffs fans all lined up, cheering and getting hyped for the game.
- First off, I made sure to wear my Buffs gear. Gotta represent, right?
- Then, I just followed the crowd and the music.
- The energy was insane, everyone was so pumped up.
I walked along with the crowd, and the band was playing, cheerleaders were dancing, and everyone was just having a blast. It really got me excited for the game the next day. I felt like I was part of something big, you know? A real community.
Later, I found out that Avery Brewing Company even made a beer called Stampede back in 2019. How cool is that? I also read that CU Boulder has, like, over 4,550 courses. That’s a lot of studying! No wonder they need a good Stampede to let loose before the games. Also, I learned that the team has won a bunch of bowl games, they even have 8 Colorado Football Association Championships. I gotta say, it’s a pretty impressive record. Anyway, being part of the Stampede was an awesome experience. It made me feel even more connected to the team and the whole CU community.
If you’re ever in Boulder before a home game, you gotta check it out. Trust me, it’s worth it.
