Okay, so, I was thinking about getting one of those Rose Bowl rings. I mean, they look pretty cool, right? But I wasn’t really sure where to even start looking for them.
So, first, I did a little digging online. Found out that these rings, they’re not like those crazy expensive Super Bowl rings that can go for like, $35,000 or something. Apparently, the college ones, they can’t be more than $415. That’s a relief, huh?
Then I got to thinking, “Where do I even find these things?” I looked it up, and it turns out there’s this big flea market, the Rose Bowl Flea Market. It sounded like a good place to start my search. They have two types of admissions, $20 to get in early from 5am to 8:45am, and $12 to get in later, after 9am. I ended up going for the $12 option, since I’m not really a morning person.
I went to the flea market, and man, it was huge! There were tons of stalls with all sorts of stuff. I started walking around, checking out different vendors, trying to see if anyone had any Rose Bowl rings.
It took a while, but I finally found a couple of stalls that had some. They weren’t exactly what I was looking for, but they were pretty cool nonetheless. I asked about the prices, and they were all within that $415 limit, which was good.
- There was one that was pretty simple, just a silver band with the Rose Bowl logo on it.
- Another one was a bit fancier, with some engravings and a small gemstone.
- And then there was this one that was really out there, with all sorts of colors and designs.
I ended up getting the simple silver one. It wasn’t too flashy, but it was a nice little reminder of the Rose Bowl.
After I got the ring, I spent some more time wandering around the flea market. I picked up a few other things, like a vintage t-shirt and some old records. It was a fun day, and I was pretty happy with my finds. I mean, finding a Rose Bowl ring, how cool is that?
Overall, it was a pretty successful trip.
I got the ring, found some other cool stuff, and didn’t spend a fortune. If you’re ever looking for a Rose Bowl ring, or just want to check out a cool flea market, I’d definitely recommend going to the Rose Bowl Flea Market. Just be prepared to do some walking, and maybe haggle a bit for the best prices. It’s a fun experience, and you never know what you might find!
