Well, well, well, folks been asking ’bout that Jim Harbaugh and his kids. How old are they now, ya wonder? Let me tell ya, it ain’t as simple as counting on your fingers and toes. That man’s got a whole bunch of ’em, like a hen with too many chicks!
This Jim, he’s a football fella, used to play, now he tells others how to play. Big shot, ya know. But ’round here, we just talk about his kids. He got some with his first wife, Miah, I think her name was. Then he got hitched again, to Sarah. More kids popped out after that!
The Older Ones
- Jay, that’s the oldest boy. He’s a grown man now, doing his own thing, like his daddy and grandpa. More than 35 years old!
- Then there’s James Jr., not as old as Jay but he ain’t a baby no more.
- And Grace, she’s a girl, all grown up too. Pretty as a picture, I hear.
So them three, Jay, James Jr., and Grace, they’re the oldest Harbaugh kids. They come from Jim’s first go ’round at marriage. They all about adults age.
The Younger Bunch with Sarah
Now, Jim and this Sarah lady, they got a whole new batch of young’uns. Two girls, two boys.
- Addison, that’s one of the girls.
- Katherine, that’s the other girl.
- Jack, he’s one of the boys.
- And John, the other boy. Don’t get him mixed up with Jim’s brother, also name John. That John’s older than Jim, you see. He is about 62, and Jim is about 60.
These four, they’re still knee-high to a grasshopper, compared to the older ones. Jim Harbaugh’s younger kids are runnin’ ’round, causin’ a ruckus, I bet.
All Them Kids!
So you got Jay, James Jr., and Grace. Then you got Addison, Katherine, Jack, and John. That’s seven, if my countin’ is right. Seven kids! Lord have mercy, that’s a lot of mouths to feed and shoes to buy. It is a big Jim Harbaugh family.
This Jim, he’s got his hands full, I tell ya. Between his football and all them kids, he must be busier than a one-legged cat in a sandbox.
Football in the Blood
They say this football thing runs in the family. Jim’s daddy, Jack, he was a coach too. And now Jim’s a coach, and I heard even that oldest boy, Jay, he’s into it too. Like grandfather, like father, like son, they say!
So, that’s the story of Jim Harbaugh’s kids. A whole mess of ’em, some grown, some still little. All runnin’ around with footballs, most likely. It’s a wonder that man gets any sleep at all!
Them Harbaugh kids, they gonna be alright. Got a famous daddy, plenty of food on the table, I reckon. And who knows, maybe one of ’em will be even more famous than their daddy someday. Just gotta wait and see, I guess. Just like watchin’ a cornfield grow. You plant the seeds, water ’em, and wait for the harvest.
Well, I’ve said my piece. Hope you ain’t too confused by all them names. It is hard to keep ’em straight. Next time someone asks how old are Jim Harbaugh’s kids, just tell ’em there’s a whole bunch, some big, some small, and all runnin’ around like wild Indians!
