That Tyler Glasnow injury, oh boy, it’s a real mess. He’s that pitcher fella for the Dodgers, you know? Big guy, throws the ball real fast. But now, his elbow is all messed up. Makes me think of my old man, bless his soul, always complainin’ about his joints.
Tyler Glasnow’s Elbow Injury
They call it a “sprained elbow.” Sounds nasty, don’t it? Like when I sprained my ankle chasin’ that darn chicken last summer. He can’t throw no more, not for a good while. Season’s over for him, just like that. Poof! And he was doin’ so good, too. They say he got 168 of them “strikeouts.” Sounds like he knocked ’em right outta the park, huh?
- He can’t throw no more.
- His elbow is busted up good.
- No more baseball for him this year. Poor fella.
Dodgers Lose a Good One
The Dodgers, they’re gonna miss him somethin’ fierce. He was their big star, that Tyler Glasnow. They wanted him to pitch in them big games, the World Series. He was gonna help them win. They gonna play the New York Yankees but without Tyler. You know, like when my prize-winnin’ pumpkin got smashed by that raccoon right before the county fair. Just ruined everything. Tyler Glasnow injury is really really bad.
This whole thing is “extremely frustrating,” that’s what the young folks say these days. He wanted to play so bad, and now he can’t. It ain’t fair, I tell ya. Just like when that hailstorm came through and ruined my tomato plants. All that work for nothin’.
No More Pitching
He was on the “injured list.” Whatever that is, he is not on the baseball field anymore. He’s a good pitcher, that Tyler Glasnow. They say he had a 9-6 record and some fancy number called a 3.49 ERA. Don’t know what that means, but it sounds important. He pitched a whole bunch of innings, too. 134 of them! More than he ever did before. Now, his arm is tired and got this injury. He should rest and take care of himself.
He won’t pitch again this season, they say. It’s a big blow. Big blow for him, big blow for the Dodgers, big blow for everyone who likes watchin’ him throw that ball.
That’s the worst part of this Tyler Glasnow injury. He can’t do what he loves, and we can’t watch him do it. It’s like when the TV broke right in the middle of my favorite show. Just leaves ya hangin’, ya know? This injury really makes him sad. He talked about it.
Hoping for the Best with This Tyler Glasnow Injury
Well, I hope he gets better soon. Maybe he can come back next year, stronger than ever. Like my old mule, Bessie, after she got that nasty cut on her leg. Took a while, but she healed up just fine. Hopefully, Tyler Glasnow‘s elbow will heal up just fine, too. He’s a good strong boy.
He needs rest. That’s the best medicine. That and some of that old-fashioned liniment my grandma used to make. Smelled awful, but it worked wonders. Maybe they should try that on his elbow.
They say he doesn’t need no surgery. That’s good news. Surgery is scary. Remember when my neighbor, Mildred, had to get her hip replaced? Took her forever to recover. Glad Tyler Glasnow don’t need none of that.
It’s a shame, it really is. This Tyler Glasnow injury is a real shame. But these things happen, I guess. Just gotta roll with the punches, as they say. And hope for the best. That’s all you can do. I hope he will be good and play next year. I want to see him pitch again.
Anyways, that’s all I know about that Tyler Glasnow injury. It’s a sad story, but life goes on, don’t it? Just like it does here on the farm. Sun comes up, sun goes down, chickens lay eggs, and sometimes, your star pitcher gets a bum elbow. That’s just the way it is.
