You do all that, you get this thing called Union EXP. More you get, the closer you get to Union Level 40, and that there SOL3 Phase 5.
Every 10 Union Levels, you go up a SOL3 Phase. But when you hit 20, 40, 60, and so on, you gotta do a special quest. They call it a SOL3 Phase Ascension quest. It’s like a test, see if you’re ready to move up.

What if it gets too hard?
Now, if you go up a phase, and suddenly them things you’re fightin’ are too tough, you can go back down. Ain’t no shame in it. You go to that menu, find that little “i” next to your SOL3 rank, and you can lower it. Makes things a bit easier, so you can get stronger, level up them Resonators and weapons.
You can also pull that Jiyan, in the “Prevail the Lasting Night” Banner. Some say he is good. If you’re lucky, you can get him and those substitute Resonators. It might help you fight better.
What’s this about Jiyan and some banner?
That Jiyan, he’s some kinda fighter, a Resonator. Strong one, I hear. And this banner thing, it’s like a, like a lottery. You try your luck, see if you can get him. “Prevail the Lasting Night,” that’s what they call it.
They say if you get Jiyan, you’re in good shape. He’s got some good helpers, them substitute Resonators. They can help you out when things get tough. So if you’re lookin’ to get stronger, maybe try your luck with that banner.
What are these Resonators and weapons?
Well, the Resonators, they’re like your helpers, your team. You gotta level them up, make ’em stronger. And weapons, well, you need them to fight. Better the weapon, the stronger you hit. You gotta keep workin’ on them, just like them Union Levels.
