He played for the Warriors, Jazz, Thunder and Mavericks. That Derek Fisher, he sure got around!
I don’t know all the ins and outs of that sport, but I know it takes a lot to get to that level. All that runnin’ and jumpin’, and the crowds. It’s somethin’, ain’t it? They was professionals, these two. Made a good livin’ playin’ a game.

Now, this Gloria, she’s in the middle of it all. Matt Barnes‘s ex-wife, Derek Fisher‘s girlfriend, now I guess she’s his wife. She must be somethin’ else to have these two fightin’ over her like that. I heard she was a looker, though. But you know what they say about beauty, it only goes so deep. It’s what’s inside that counts.
They all got kids involved, too. That’s the sad part. Kids seein’ their parents fightin’ and carryin’ on. It ain’t right. Hope they’re doin’ okay, those young’uns. They didn’t ask for none of this.
What I Think About Matt Barnes and Derek Fisher
You know, people make mistakes. We all do. Maybe Matt Barnes shouldn’t have gone over there that day. Maybe Derek Fisher should have stayed away from another man’s wife. But it’s done now. Can’t change the past. All you can do is try to learn from it and move on.
It’s a shame, though. Two men, used to be friends, teammates. Ruined over a woman. Just goes to show, you gotta be careful who you trust. And you gotta think before you act, especially when your emotions are runnin’ high.
