You see a lot of kicking in them UFC fights. High kicks, low kicks, all kinds of kicks. And sometimes, them kicks go a little too low, if you catch my drift. That’s where that cup comes in handy. It’s like a shield, protectin’ what needs protectin’. Imagine a fella takin’ a full force kick right there without a cup, I’d imagine it would hurt a whole bunch, and then some.
And it ain’t just kickin’. They punch down there too sometimes, I guess. Accidents happen, you know? Even in a fight, things can get a little out of hand. Now, I don’t know much about these kinda things, but that’s what I hear. And it makes sense, don’t it? You gotta protect yourself, especially when you’re in a sport like that. Them UFC fighters, they’re tough, but they ain’t invincible. Nobody is, not even them.
I heard that the women fighters, they don’t wear cups. Makes sense, I guess. They ain’t got the same equipment to protect, you know what I mean? But they wear somethin’ else, somethin’ to protect their chests, I reckon. They gotta have some protection too, I suppose. But the men, they definitely wear cups.
