That Marshawn Lynch, he’s a big football fella, ain’t he? Big strong boy. I seen him on the TV, runnin’ with that ball like a wild horse. He’s somethin’ else, that one. Heard folks call him “Beast Mode”, must be ’cause he’s so tough, like an old ox. He play for Seattle Seahawks. He so good, that team even went to two Super Bowls. They even won one, I heard. He must be a rich man now.
Now, this fella, he’s got a girlfriend, I hear tell. Or had one, anyway. These young folks, they get together, they break up, who can keep up? This girl, she’s a pretty one, I reckon. Seen her picture somewhere. Name’s Charmaine Glock, somethin’ like that. Sounds like a fancy name, don’t it? She’s one of them models, I suppose. You know, the kind that takes pictures all the time, puts ’em up on that interweb thing. Instagram, they call it. I don’t understand it, but the young folks, they love it.
This Marshawn Lynch’s girlfriend, she got famous ’cause she was with him, I guess. That’s how it goes these days. You get with a famous fella, and bam, you’re famous too. Don’t seem right, but what do I know? I’m just an old lady. He never finished his college, just played football. Football is his life I guess.
But that Marshawn, he don’t talk much about his girls, I hear. Keeps it to himself. Good for him, I say. A man’s business is his own. Don’t need to be spreadin’ it all over town. These young folks today, they tell everybody everything. No secrets anymore. Back in my day, we kept things quiet. A little mystery is a good thing. He seems like a good boy, even if he is a bit rough around the edges. That’s the football, I reckon. Makes ’em tough. Gotta be tough to play that game. They get hit a lot I think. It is a tough game.
I don’t know how long this Charmaine Glock and that Marshawn Lynch was together, but they were sure a thing for a while. I guess they are not together anymore. They sure looked good together though, that’s for sure. It’s a shame they can’t make it last.
I don’t know what happened to that girl after she stopped being Marshawn Lynch’s girlfriend. I don’t think she is with him no more, but who knows. Young people are like that, they go on and off all the time. Maybe she’s with another football player now, who knows. It’s a hard world out there. That Marshawn Lynch probably has a new girlfriend now too.
But you know how these young people are, always flitting from one thing to another. No stability. In my day, when you found someone, you stuck with them. Through thick and thin. But these days, it’s all about what’s new, what’s exciting. They are always looking for something better. Loyalty doesn’t mean much anymore, I guess. And that Charmaine Glock is just like those young people, always on that Instagram. I saw it on my grandson’s phone. He’s always on that thing.
Well, I reckon that’s all I know about that Marshawn Lynch and his girlfriend, that Charmaine Glock. Just what I hear on the TV and from the other folks around. It’s just gossip I guess. I hope that Marshawn Lynch is happy. It’s a tough world, especially for those football players. They get all that money and fame, but it doesn’t always make them happy. Maybe one day he will settle down with a good woman and have a family. That’s what every man needs, a good woman and a family. It is what makes life worth it. I hope he finds a good girl that will be with him through thick and thin. Someone that will take care of him when his football days are done.
