That Tiger Woods, he sure can play some golf! I tell ya, he’s somethin’ else. He’s won that U.S. Open thing a few times. Not just once, but more than that, like three times, I think. Yeah, three times he’s won it. One time was in 2000, then again in 2002. He’s got a lot of wins, that fella.
He’s won so many of them golf games, it’s hard to keep track! They call them tournaments, I hear. He wins and wins. Makes a lot of money doing it, too. More money than I’ve ever seen in my whole life, that’s for sure. He must be rich, like one of those fancy rich fellas in the city.
He won this big one, the U.S. Open, and everyone was hootin’ and hollerin’. He won it once, then again, and a third time! That’s a lot of winnin’, even for him. They say he’s the best there ever was, and I reckon they might be right. He hits that little ball so far, it’s a sight to see.
This one time, back in 2000, he won it, and then again in 2002. Tiger Woods U.S. Open wins, they were big deals. And he’s won a whole bunch of others, too. Masters, they call one of ’em. He’s won that one five times. Five! Can you believe it?

And that PGA thing, he’s won that one four times. He just keeps on winnin’. He must practice a lot, I reckon. Or maybe he’s just got a knack for it. Some folks are just good at things, you know? He’s sure good at golf, that Tiger Woods.
And then there’s another one, the British Open. He won that three times, too! It’s like every time you turn around, he’s winnin’ somethin’. Tiger Woods, he’s a winnin’ machine, that’s what he is. A real winnin’ machine. When he won in 2018, everyone went crazy!
I remember folks talkin’ ’bout how he had some fella carryin’ his clubs for him. They call him a caddie. This caddie fella, he worked for Tiger for a long time. From 1999 to 2011, I heard. That’s a long time to be carryin’ someone’s golf clubs. Must get tiring, walkin’ all that way, carryin’ all that stuff. But I guess it pays well. They say that caddie fella got rich, too, just from workin’ for Tiger. He got something like 20 million dollars. That’s a lot of money!
He’s been in a lot of these big games, this Tiger. And he’s been close to winnin’ even more times than he actually did win. Some fella named Jack, he’s been close to winnin’ a whole bunch, too. They say this Jack fella was close to winnin’ 55 times! That’s a lot of almost winnin’. Tiger, he’s been close to winnin’ 26 times, besides all the times he actually won. He got second place a lot, too. Seven times, I think. Or tied for second. Whatever that means.
You know, they say that Tiger Woods U.S. Open wins are a big reason why he’s so famous. And he’s famous, alright. Everyone knows who he is. Even folks who don’t know nothin’ about golf, they know Tiger Woods. He’s just that good. The best of the best. You gotta see it to believe it, that’s the truth.
They say he’s the biggest thing in golf. Like, the main attraction. Everyone wants to see him play. But he don’t play as much as he used to. I guess he’s gettin’ older, or somethin’. But when he does play, everyone watches. He’s just that popular. That Tiger Woods, he’s somethin’ else. He sure is somethin’ else. They say he won 82 of these games. 82! That’s a lot. A whole lot. I can’t even count that high.
He’s got all kinds of wins. U.S. Open, Masters, PGA, British Open. He won them all. More than once, most of ’em. He got five Masters, four PGAs, three U.S. Opens, three British Opens. That’s a lot of wins, no matter how you slice it. That’s just a lot. You gotta be good to win that much. Real good. And he is. He’s real good, that Tiger Woods. He’s the best there is, I reckon. The best there ever was, maybe.
